A weekend of sea, surf and sand and hopefully sun. The camp-site is right next to the beach with hot showers, cafe and camp shop. It is a beautiful location. Can't guarantee how much surf there will be but it is normally a surfing hot spot and well if there isn't any surf, we can go walking.
Travel down Friday, try and finish work early if you can, surf as much or as little as you like on Saturday and Sunday. Have a BBQ Saturday night with a beer or two if the weather is good. There is a pub (Kings Head) nearby which does serve food if BBQ is not weather permitting.
Campsite is a bit on the expensive side but it is very clean and an ideal location. The cheapest option is to get as many people as poss to share a large tent.
There is a cafe at the camp-site (Eddy's cafe) it is open at the weekends but shuts in the evenings around 5pm ish.
Pete's (PJs) surf shop is next to the Kings Head pub and you can hire surfboards if you fancy.
Club equipment - If anyone needs to borrow any, please shout so we can book it out and have approval by a committee member.
