Welcome

Royal Leamington Spa Canoe Club (RLSCC) is located on the banks of the River Leam, in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Just off Adelaide Road (north side of river), Leamington Spa CV32 5AH View Google map

The club offer various activities including Slalom, Marathon Racing, Sprint Racing, Recreational Paddling both Whitewater and flat, Coaching, Pool Training Sessions and Junior Club.

New members are very welcome. If you have never paddled before, take a look at our Beginners section. If you would like to give the sport a try, day membership is available on club nights for £5. Alternatively, visit St. Nicholas swimming pool on a Sunday evening at 18:20 hours and learn the basics in warm water throughout the year, excluding August.

If you already paddle, the RLSCC has an active membership in most sections of the sport. Joining the club will give you access to changing rooms, lounge, gym, plus boat storage, use of club equipment, cheaper access to swimming pool and membership to our website.
As of 2012 the club has acheived Clubmark accreditation. This recognises the effort we have put in to making the club a welcoming and high quality environment for all paddlers. This doesn't mean we have finished - we have ongoing projects to improve the club, it's facilities, equipment and coaching further over the next few years.

Canoe Foundation

The principle functions of the Canoe Foundation are to raise money; inform and educate; and allocate funds, in line with the Charity’s mission statement: ‘positively changing lives through canoeing’

In the last eight years the Canoe Foundation has awarded in excess of £131,000 worth of grants to more than 146 projects, which have in turn benefitted over 24,000 individuals throughout the UK and overseas.

As well as keeping up to date with all the latest news, the Canoe Foundation website enables you to find out more about the Charity, information about accessing grants, case studies from some of the projects we have funded in the past eight years, and details of how you can further support the Canoe Foundation.
